I went to the show as well. LEGENDARY is the only word to come to mind. I hope they videoed this. Security was super lax - I coulda snuck a bazooka in there if I wanted to, so I'm thinking somebody had to tape it.
For you SoCal smokers out there, if you ever get a chance to go to Red Rocks, show up about 17 hours early - that way you rest in between flights of stairs. Damn near kilt me.
just getting home from our colorado/red rocks trip. what a great time! the openers did a fantastik job. and Donny's contribition to tiger army [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] then social d i've always just wanted to "watch" the show, and in the small sweatty places i never do. and the atmosphere was increadible! I DO PERFER THE SMALL DARK,SWEATTY PLACES TO THE SEATED OUTDOOR AMMPATHEATER ENVIROMENT. I'S SO MUCH MORE PERSONALBLE AND TO ME THE ENEGRY IS INCREADIBLE!!
THEN RENO DIVORCE AT THE BLUEBIRD ANYONE CATCH THAT SHOW??? WITH THE ADOLESCENTS??IF NOT YOU'ALL MISSED OUT

I sort of felt sorry for Nine Black Alps, they came on with the sun right in their eyes and the temp around 100 degrees, and not many people in their seats yet. The Supersuckers, they simply rocked, but they may be better too in a smaller place. And I'm really starting to like Tiger Army, and their "country" songs with Donny on the slide guitar sounded great.Quote:

I also liked it when Mike talked about maybe doing this every year as a one off. If they do come to Red Rocks next year, I'll be there......

one of THE best SxDx shows we caught since slrnr was in Albuquerque. i can't remember the place name right offhand but the feel and the sound was simply amazing and the zoo was cool to. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
but even though red rocks was kewl, i'll stick to the small sweatty places from here on out!

That's what we did, went to the Denver Zoo, it was nice despite being about 100 degrees, and almost all the animals were sleeping......
